Abstract

Asthma is a common disease affecting all age groups. Global Initiative for Asthma is preparing and updating asthma management guidelines regularly. This is to make medical practitioners aware of the importance of early diagnosis and optimal management of asthma. The main factor that creates suffering for asthma patients is undertreatment. This may be
from the side of the practitioner in the form of delay in diagnosis and failure to use optimal medications. This article focuses on creating awareness among caregivers regarding the selection of optimal management for their asthma patients.
